Temporary Visa Suspension Ahead of Hajj 2025 for 14 countriesAs of April 8, 2025,

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has implemented significant changes to its visa policies, particularly affecting nationals from 14 countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen.Changes to Visa Regulations:Effective February 1, 2025, the issuance of one-year multiple-entry visas for tourism, business, and family visits to citizens of these countries has been indefinitely suspended. Instead, travelers from these nations are now eligible only for single-entry visas valid for 30 days, with a maximum stay of 30 days per visit.

While this measure affects tourism, business, and family visit visas, it does not impact Hajj, Umrah, diplomatic, or residency visas. Travelers from the affected countries are advised to apply for single-entry visas well in advance of their intended travel dates and to adhere strictly to the new visa regulations to avoid penalties or disruptions during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
